Alchi Resort
Alchi Resort is located in the heart of Alchi Village amidst garden of apple , apricot and poplar trees and flowers . A family owned and operated resort since 1996 , we have traditional ladakhi styled cottages surrounding our garden . Alchi resort has been serving guest from all around the globe since two decades .
Ideal for yoga groups , photography groups and laid back travellers who want to soak in the village lifestyle and the timeless beauty surrounding the resort .
Our Resort serves as a base to visit Lamayuru , Ridzong and Mangyu monastries .All unique in their own way and they kind of gives us a glimpse of the glory days when buddhist kings were comissioning artisans from all over india to build something of beauty and reverence .
As a marathon runner and amatuer climber myself we have created Alchi Be Active to promote various outdoor activities in and around Alchi .
Our season typically starts with the apricot blossoms in April ending and some japanese tourist come specially for this . the whole of alchi and saspol villages are covered in white flowers which gives a fairytale feeling . after that the first dandelion flowers start to pop and the streams are filled with the melting glacier waters . then the villlagers are getting their feilds ready for barley wheat .
